Mr.Bob Cassilly October 14,1999 City Museum Mr.Horst Reiser October 18,1999 Campus Crusade for Christ 206 Joseph Street Zurich,Switzerland 8005 Dear Brother I have mailed via express the floppy disk and other info to tbe above address. 13 disk in foil to protect from magnets or xray. I may have included 2 odd disc that is not apart of painting I am sorry that my registration form is misplaced but I hope to find it by Monday here. Sorry for the trouble. It has occurred to me that I should ask you if you will consider an advanced version of Revelation Revealed II I am painting for the show next fall at the University of Memphis and world tour. They have ask me now for smaller individual scenes to travel. This painting is 8 feet tall and 100 feet long in 4 25 foot sect-ions,it flows more for visual interpretation and will be easy to install with eyelets every 2 feet apart. It is possible that I could finish it by December 25 and fly it over as extra luggage. On 12 oz canvas weighting about 100lbs,shipping on 1 or 2 rolls. I have been unable to get any break from the air freight rate of about $2,000.00. I may need to go to St.Louis to make sure it is packed right and shipped on time. The City Museum has repeatedly ask me to leave it up until next year. Their response is great to the painting and it was put on Television last week. It could be that other museums would need a shorter version. The impact of a taller painting may be good. All this is to suggest an option and not to say it must be this way. I do believe that if it could all be in one direction,it would be better seen. Or if it were facing in 2 rows of 50 feet each where it all could be seen while standing in one place. The favorite scenes would be in more highlight while the entire book would be simplified. From 48 scenes on the main painting, some consolidated, the scenes shown on the new painting will be from Christ appearing to the Apostle John with the 7 candle sticks and 7 stars in His hand to a larger tree of life at the end,28 scenes highly emphasized. The open flow of the painting will attract a universal audience, there will be nothing lost in describing the book of Revelation. I now feel I should recommend this after thinking about it while writing to you. Each will have its place in time. At first there was mentioned putting it around the stage but now it is to be in a place like display. I really think this will do a better job. Nothing would really need to be changed. Sincerely William Thomas Thompson
